The most underrated form of cardio...WALKING

Cardio is usually seen as something you should fear or do as punishment. Why should it be that way? I believe everybody can find a way in which they like to get their heart rate up! There are tons of options:

  • Running

  • Swimming

  • Hiking

  • Cycling

  • Elliptical

  • Interval Training

  • Sports

  • Rowing


There are seemingly endless amounts of options when it comes to getting some sort of cardiovascular workout in, but most people still fail to do it and enjoy it. If you don’t know where to start, you should WALK.

You walk everyday so you certainly know how to do it. Walking has tons of benefits: good for your heart, good for digestion, good for improving overall joint and body mobility, the list goes on. I promise that if you start walking for at least 5 minutes each day, you will feel the difference in your daily energy levels and overall quality of life.

If walking or cardio as a whole sounds boring, couple it with something you love: music, your favorite podcast, an audiobook, a television show etc. Don’t look at cardio as a punishment. Don’t look at any form of exercise as a punishment. You should find ways that YOU like to move. That is the key to consistency.
